Dogs are indeed good friends of human being. But at the same time it can be a worst enemy, too. When dogs can be trained for many domestic helps, it can also be trained as attack dogs. Mainly attack dogs are trained for police personnel for aiding them in preventing crime. These dogs can attack and bite the people under command from their trainers and masters. In ancient times attack dogs are used in battle fields to break the front lines. They were also used to capture escaping slaves and kill them. Normally attack dogs are trained to bite and stop biting on instruction. Hence these dogs are very useful for police and army personnel.

At times some dogs only attack but won’t stop under command. This is due to inadequate training important for them. These dogs are very dangerous. Some dogs even attack their trainer as well as their owners. Few other dogs start fighting with other dogs and attack them dangerously. These dogs are trained and owned by some irresponsible people. A well trained attack dog will be always obedient to his trainer and follow his commends vigorously. It will never attack any body unless its master is facing a threat. Before training a dog as an attack dog its physical and psychological conditions will be taken into consideration. It also undergoes a vigorous and sustained program before putting into use as an attack dog.

Guard dogs and attack dogs are two different categories. Guard dogs scare the strangers by barking loudly but never will attack them. Where as the attack dogs will attack and bite the stranger on command from their master. Attack dogs are very dangerous and pose serious treat to human being it they are not properly trained. A well trained attack dog know when and how to attack and more importantly when to stop. Some times even a well trained attack dog can become dangerous when it is handled by an inexperienced trainer or owner. No attacking dog is absolutely safe even it is well trained; it can pose danger at any time

If you want to have an attacking dog, first you get trained yourself in handling such dogs. There are various professional trainers and cannel clubs they can train attacking dogs in a proper way. However, the need for attacking dogs has become diminished due to availability of modern weaponry and safety devices.
