Pets are a part of many of our lives, and the position they hold within our families is strong and mutual. Pets can be fiercely loyal and instances of the protection they have provided to their family members are legendary and have starred on the big and little screen. Animals can improve our health either through the physical exercise we get ensuring they get theirs, or through the mental stimulation we get interacting with them.
