Why A Dog Health Diagnosis Can Be Crucial

When people buy a dog, he usually becomes much more than just an animal that walks around. He becomes a best friend, a trusting companion, and a protector of the home. When your dog isn’t feeling well, the last thing you want is to think that there is something seriously wrong with him. Since many of us don’t have enough in-depth knowledge when it comes to dogs, a trip to the veterinarian’s office is the best place to go for a dog health diagnosis.

No matter is your dog is sick or not, a trip to the vet should be done on a regular basis. The veterinarian will show you things to look out for and to check, especially if you think your dog is sick. When visiting the vet, your dog should undergo a few procedures to make sure that he will continue to be healthy.

Firstly, your dog should be vaccinated. Many diseases that can be stopped with a vaccination are those that usually kill a dog. Your dog should have distemper and rabies shots, a long with treatment for fleas and ticks. As you dog ages, he/she can develop a form of Alzheimer’s or even asthma. This can be easily treated by your vet. In any case, it is always important that your dog is receiving normal check-ups on a regular basis. This is what matters the most.

A lot of the times, dogs can get the same sicknesses that humans get. Dogs can catch the common cold, a fever, and sometimes cancer. This is why it is so important for you to take your dog to the vet so that a regular, routine check-up can be done to check for any type of problems.

When you keep your pet in the best health possible, you will find that he/she will be much happier, and so will you. Having a dog that mopes around or acts sick is very worrisome for pet owners. Dogs generally act just as a sick child would who is too young to be able to express what is wrong. When your dog isn’t feeling the best, he/she can’t tell you that it’s a stomach ache or a headache.

Because of this, your dog relies on you to keep him healthy. You have to feed him/her, bathe, walk, and give all of the love you can. Fortunately, there are many different things you can do that help keep your dog healthy and away from any type of serious illness. Usually, your vet will give you tips using natural remedies.

Keeping on eye on your dog’s diet is one thing that you can do. Make sure that the diet fits his age as well as his breed and any other needs he may have. You want an energetic dog, not a dog that lies in bed. Try to avoid dog products that are high in sugar and preservatives. While keeping your dog on a healthy diet, you also want to make sure that he is getting the needed exercise. Taking your dog for a walk in the park is great for him as well as you. Who could pass up something so easy?

A dog health diagnosis is the way to make sure there are no problems, even if they are little ones that could turn into something more serious later. After all, if you find out a few things about how to keep your dog healthy and happy, he will be around for a long time to be a faithful companion to you. He will love you unconditionally, greet you when you come home, and best of all, he will always be your friend.

Your dog wants to be with you and misses your companionship which is had inside the house. Your dog may be whining until you take him in whether that happens within the next 10 minutes or 10 hours. For the sake of your dog and your neighbors, leave your dog inside the house when you are away.

Disciplining a whining dog is not a good idea. Remember, whining is a sign of distress. Punishing the dog will cause even more distress. Instead, find out what your dog’s needs are to take him out of the distress.

Fleas, Ticks and Worms

Fleas and other parasites have always to be given the top priority by dog owners. The all too common incidences of flea bite allergy in dogs causes worry to many dog owners every year, especially in the summer. This is because flea bites often induce allergic reactions in the area bitten by the fleas, which is often on the back above the tail. In these cases, the affected skin becomes hairless due to the dog scratching itself very vigorously.

Heavy flea infestations can cause severe dermatitis in dogs. If the flea bites produce an allergic reaction or even dermatitis in your dog, he/she really ought to be taken to the veterinary doctor, because mostly, the dog will be experiencing extreme discomfort by now.

The vet will provide a cream to ease the itching and powder or a spray to kill the fleas. Therefore, prevention is better and medicated collars are available to treat and prevent an infestation of external parasites like ticks and fleas.

Besides fleas, other parasites like ticks and lice in addition to the internal parasites like hook worms, round worms, whip worms etc. can affect the health of your dog. For example, if hookworm infects a dog, that dog will usually suffer from anaemia. The signs of anaemia become more prominent depending on the degree of infection by the hookworm.

Hookworm larvae can enter directly through the skin and cause severe problems inside the affected dog. Such dogs may reveal lesions on the paws and on the skin due to dermatitis. Frequently, skin rashes result in such cases and the infected animal may also pass runny stools, which are tinged red with blood.

Most dogs and all puppies get round worms, which is why dogs can sometimes be seen rubbing their bottoms along the ground. However, if round worms are present in very large numbers, infected puppies show a pot belly, which is easily noticeable by the dog’s owners themselves. A dose of piperazine salts is given orally for the treatment of this condition. However, broad-spectrum anthelmintics like pyrantel pamoate, fenbendazole etc. are also used to cure this very common condition.

Lately, many drugs have come onto the market to treat fleas and other parasites. Nowadays, the medical agent called ivermectin is highly preferred by many dog owners to treat fleas and other parasites in dogs. This drug is available in injection form and oral form. The drug is available for external application also.

You Could Be Hurting Your Animals’ Feelings!

Animal Communication can help pet owners in a number of ways. It will help you to understand and pick up vital information regarding your animals’ health and happiness. Having the ability to feel an animal form their perspective allows us to move from placing our own thoughts and judgements on our animals. Making animal communication a must have tool if you truly care for animals.

Often we can completely miss-judge situation regarding our animals’ behaviour. It is very easy for us people to see a situation and then jump to our own negative conclusions. I am sure that you will agree that there is nothing more hurt full and unfair than someone making judgements about you that are not true!

For example the other day I saw how a dog had been labelled as a bully with other dogs. This strong judgement had been made because the owner had observed that when her dog was around younger or gentle dogs, she would look very friendly but when she got close would snap at them and show aggressive signs.

The dogs behaviour was totally different to nervous of protective dogs and would bee her distance from them.

With animal communication we soon discovered that she was not a bull at all. Far from it her problem was that she was afraid of intimacy! She was also very good at reading other dogs character and this is why she did not want anything to do with the nervous or protective dogs. She was actually desperate to make friends with other dogs and this was why she was choosing the younger and gentle dogs.

This feeling of wanting to be close, changed as soon as her nose got to close to another dogs. Replaced with this feeling of intense shyness and protection.

This information changed the owners understanding and together we created a whole new approach, focused on helping her dog become intimate with other dogs. She was so desperate to learn how to overcome her shyness and have other dog friends that the task was easy when approached in the right way.

When we connect with our animals and understand them it gives us the power to start helping them. If you are constantly asking yourself why they do the things that they do then this is possibly because you have not understood them fully!

Animal communication creates a deeper relationship this is the same for humans too! When we find some one that understands us more we naturally trust them more and become closer to them. This is the same with your animals and the more they trust you the greater the relationship for everyone! Animal communication is a very natural form of communication that anyone can learn.

Unless we put the Persian cats into particular category it will be impossible to recognize them as in recent times they are coming with a blend of different color coats.

To make it uncomplicated the Persian cats have been categorized on the basis of their coat color. You can see from the examples here as to how they are called, Silver Shadowed, Golden Shadowed, and Cameo Shaded and of course Red Persian cats.

The majority of the Persian cats are white with usually layers of different colors on just the tips of the coat which is technically known as ticking. But as there is a lot of mixed breeding the coats of the cats can evolve into totally different colors like blue-cream.

Pure white albino Persian cats are very uncommon and you will see Persian cats with red coats just like ordinary cats. The shade of red that you find in the Persian variety is not a pure shade of red which you may assume but it is more on the shades of orange or ginger with variation. You will find hints of brown or white on the tips or all red. Most of the red Persian cats however have a red coat all over.

The lips and chin of the cat are the same color as that of the hair. Its paw pads and nose leather is a brick red color and unlike Silver Shaded and Chinchilla Persian cats whose eye color is either green or blue-green, the Red Persians eye color is of a brilliant copper color. But it does, like the other Persian cats, have the blackened rimmed eyes that give off an impression as if the cat is wearing eye makeup.

Most of the times the red color does not occur in isolation and is accompanied by patches of cream, white and cameo. The diversity of colors that occur on a Persian cat could be understood when you see a Smoked Tortoiseshell Persian which has a white under coat with prominent black tip intermingled with red and cream ticking too which gives an impression of a tortoiseshell.

Along with the captivating patterns that occurs in this breed of Persian cat, there is sometimes present the blaze of red color or cream tipping on the face which is liked by many people.

You will see that most of the breeds of Persian cats like Shaded, Golden Shaded or Chinchilla have eyes shaded green or blue green. Only the Tortoiseshell Persian cat and the Red colored cat families have eyes that are of brilliant copper colored.

The only difference that you will find in Red Persian cats is that they have fluffier and longer mane but as far as other physical characteristics are concerned like punched face, short and bulky legs, solid body, dark rimmed eyes are similar to the other Persian breeds. The chin and lips have similar shade as its coat.

Blue persian catsare amongst the most sought after variety of all Persian cats. If you want to learnmore about red persian cats follow the hyperlinks contained herein. Click here to get your own unique version of this article with free reprint rights.
